Back to practice

Normally every saturday Gabe and I go to practice. Practice what you say? Well... I've known Gabe for quite a while now. We met at an Overkill show back in 99 or 2000..... Gabe says we met in 98, but I don't remember that far back.

Anyhow.... back in those days I was a drummer. I played in bands, and wasn't too shabby. Through the time and work, i've stopped drumming and thus have lost the touch. Speaking to Gabe about a month ago, we decided that we'd help each other out. I've wanted to get back to form on my drumming skills, and Gabe just wants to jam rather than sittin' at home.

After missing last week's practice, we jammed in the city this time. Man, was it AMAZING! This saturday's practice was different because I wasn't playing a double bass kit. I think that takes away my attention from the rest of the drum kit, so we sounded tighter this weekend. We jam to original stuff, and of course do some covers when we're feelin' ambitious. Gabe is one well crafted guitar player. He can play anything from Pantera, to Brian Setzer, and back to Eddie Van Halen.

All we need now is to get a bored bassist and then we'll look for a singer!
