People Pics

I finally took a step towards photographing human animals instead of the wild ones I normally concentrate on. I've been reluctant to do this for quite a while because I normally don't like people. LOL

So a friend of mine who used to work here asked me to take some shots of her. Now, granted this was my first time shooting a real person I feel the pictures came out okay.

So you be the judge. Go here and tell me what you think of my first time people photography. It was freezing cold on Saturday and you might notice the hair all over the place and the wind hitting the coat. Brrrrrrr

the human looks cold - were you at all afraid to be so close to a human.how did you get the human to stand still for so long, did you have human treats with you.

It was EXTREMELY cold that day, so yeah...the human was cold. I'm always afraid to get close to humans...they carry all sorts of nasty little bacteria.. Thinking about it now makes me YUKK..

With the thought of hot chocolate I think the human was more willing to wait and stand there to make sure the end results were good..

No human treats, except my eye.
Why anonymous?

Jeff! I like them because you made you human subject smile - she glows against the background.

However - admit Jeff - you just wanted to take lots of pics of a particular person and not really "people" photography :-)

Hope you are doing well and staying warm

Cheers :-)

I think this photo is incredibly cute. The hood looks nice framing her face. Human animals are not bad subjects!

Excellent photos, looks like stills from a fashion shoot.
#19 would rock if it were centered & cropped and I really like #38 & #70

Well done!
