How many faces do you have?
After attending a wedding last Friday I realize that we all have multiple faces. We have our "work" faces, where we are always serious and trying to get the job done. We have our "partner" faces where we are different with our partners in crime. We have our "party" faces where we are always smiling at the same people that perhaps you wouldn't necessarily talk to at work.
So I ask myself... Why the need for so many faces? Is it hypocritical? I don't think so. I think it's necessary because you wouldn't behave the way you do at work, the way you behave with your friends.
So, how many faces do you have?

I have 16...but I'm trying to whittle it down & use the same ones more often...life would just be more simple that way...& I'd feel more...myself...with less faces.
Great Photoshop job on the image.
Hmm. You know, I act goofy all the time..but I have some back up faces. Let's see, I have the "pssh. you don't phase me!" face and the calmer, innocent "I'm in a Catholic church" face, the of course the fake "Yes, I'm listening to you and so very interested in this conversation" face. Otherwise it's just my goofy self.
And oh yes, I took that picture! Ironically, that's the second pic of a vomiting girl on my blog...
I don't think of it as faces, but more of as roles. My face is always the same, but it's more about the language and the way I act out different roles.
hi...found u over at heathers =)
as for my faces?....ONE~
and perhaps that is the reason i get myself into trouble...
now..
mind u...
i am perfectly fine w/ one....
& wish others only had one as well..
it sure would make life easier..
but then....life is suffering...
personally...i find it hypocrytical to have more than one....i am who i am ....anyday..anytime...why bother to not be....i luv who i am... =)
I agree with the majority in the sense that we all have one face, but perhaps different sides to those faces?
But I do know that I am a bit different at work than I am out side of work. I don't know what that means, but there is a difference.
