Time Tips

I think I must have something like 2000 channels on TV and they all show the same crap. Sometimes I wonder why I pay so much for cable TV when in fact I only watch like 5 channels at most. There are always alternatives and of course I'm here to show you some that will definitely take your time away.

I have been a member to StumbleUpon for quite the longest time but I don't think I've ever mentioned it here. What is StumbleUpon? Some of you already use other programs like it known as "DIGG" or "Del.I.Cio.us" so this is just different program that does the same.

StumbleUpon is a toolbar that installs on your Internet Browswer and allows you to "Stumble" onto pages you would of otherwise never known to have existed. You can choose a particular subject to stumble onto (i.e. Photography, Adult Humor, Sports, Religion, Illusions, etc..) Here are some of my favorite images I have stumbled upon:

It's the eyes on this puppy that get to me all the time

Who would of ever thought to put it like this?

True?

Political laughter...

If you do become a stumble member, don't forget to look me up...

If you don't feel like stumbling and prefer to watch a movie... Go to www.quicksilverscreen.com. You will need to download a DIVX plug in for your browser but it's worth it. You can see tons of sports footage, movies, shows, etc... I've checked almost every day and there's always something new.

A round of applause for the internet please...

One click

For all you animal lovers. This is pretty simple. The Animal Rescue Site is having trouble getting enough people to click on it daily to meet their quota of getting free food donated every day to abused and neglected animals.

It takes less than a minute to go to their site and click on the purple box "fund food for animals" for free.
This doesn't cost you a thing.

Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate food to abandoned/neglected animals in exchange for advertising.

Here's the web site! Pass it along to people you know.

Thanks for the email on this Jules..

Break My Stride

Being a nerd pays off once in a while you know....

I say this because there has been this one song that I never knew who the artist was, or what the name of the song was. I started with a relative general search of what I remember the lyrics being. That search led me to "Men At Work" which apparently had either a cover of the song or just is labeled incorrectly.

After not being able to find the MP3, I searched YouTube and it's there where I found the real artist and the real song. After that, finding the song on the web took about 3 minutes, but I found it!

Now, I know this will squarely put me in the category of an 80's child....so if that's the case, then so be it.

This song reminds me of my days in Ecuador when I was a young lad. I remember several parties with this song being a hit and everyone dancing to it. I guess perhaps that's why I searched hi and low for this song, and now I'm grinning ear to ear.

I will leave you with the video of this song. I wonder if you guys like the song just as much as I do? Hmmmmmmm

It's been years....

How long has it been??

I didn't die and come back from the dead. It's just that I've been working on my website and because I was never satisfied with how it ended up I kept myself quite busy. Well.... wanna see what all the fuss was all about? Go to my site www.eyestare.com and tell me what you think.

This time around I made the pictures much bigger, I added an "about" section so you guys have an idea as to what was going on in that trip, and I also included a "wallpapers" section. The wallpapers section came about because I've had plenty of friends who've always asked me why I never had any of my pics as wallpapers. So I listened to them and thus you have the end result now.

What else has been going on in my life since then? To be brief (for now) I have opened up my own business, fixed up my life, and now I'm ready for Spain. Yes, the next trip I hope to have is Spain. You'll hear about all this in the near future as I get back into the swing of blogging. I will be visiting some of my old buddies here in the blog world, so I hope all of you are still around.

I promise I won't take forever to post on my blog again. It feels sooo good to be back.
